At Round the Block we design and build butchers blocks islands to the highest standard. Solid and functional, they are a beautiful addition to your kitchen and provide a stylish extension to any cooking and entertaining space.
From our vast experience of designing high quality kitchens, we have come across an array of very stoic and soulless 'butcher block' islands, and this inpired us to create something far more authentic for out clientele.
Made from genuine end grain oak top, with doweled joints and iron corner cups, this original design is not only pleasing to the eye but reassuringly solid and strong.
All Round the Block butcher's blocks are painted using 'Colourman' paint made with earth pigments, chalk and clay. (Real vegan paint: see colour charts)
Whether chopping the veg for a Sunday lunch, or chatting to friends over a glass of wine, the Round the Block island is an impressive and practical addition to most kitchen spaces for any occasion.
For every product purchased from Round the Block we will plant a tree through the National Trust and you will receive a certificate to show this.
